Tahini Salad Dressing

Ingredients

  • 60ml tahini
  • 30ml lemon juice, freshly squeezed
  • 15ml maple syrup
  • 15ml rice vinegar
  • 15ml toasted sesame oil
  • ½ tsp crushed garlic
  • 30ml water
  • ⅛ tsp sea salt
  • ⅛ tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a measuring jug.
  2. Whisk with a small whisk until completely smooth.
  3. Taste and adjust salt/pepper as needed.
  4. Pour over salad and enjoy.

Tips & Notes

  • Makes ~160ml — about ⅔ cup.
  • Keeps 5 days fridge. Some separation is normal — just whisk before using.
  • Freezer-friendly for 1 month. Let thaw in fridge, stir well before use.
  • Different from tahini sauce — this one has rice vinegar and toasted sesame oil for an Asian salad-dressing profile, while tahini sauce is more Middle Eastern / all-purpose.
  • Taste and adjust — you might want a touch more salt and pepper.
